I am one of the selection commitee for Go Short Festival (the Netherlands) for their European Competition. The festival will be on April 7 to 12, 2026.

I interviewed Japanese filmmakers Keiko Tsuruoka 鶴岡慧子 (director of Saikai Paradise), Nomoto Kozue 野本梢 (director of About Me) and Mika Imai 今井美佳 (director of 黄色い子) at 38th Tokyo International Film Festival for online cinema magazine Funscreen 放映週報. To read the aricle (in Mandarin).

1-7 December

I am one of the programmer for 36th Singapore International Film Festival for the Asian Feature Competition and Standpoint section. During the festival, I moderated after-talks with filmmakers such as CHEN Deming, CHAN Sze-wei, Hasti Mohammai, Tribeny Rai, ect. And host a discuussion about FIPRESCI award with juries - Amarsanaa Battulga, Rita Dutta and Nguyên Lê. More info.

I joined the Jury for IDFA 2025. We select the Beeld & Geluid IDFA ReFrame Award for the film Remake, and a Special Mention to the film Memories of Butterfilies. Other jury members include Sandra Beerends and Martina Parenti. More info here.

I was being one of the panelists at the Women’s Empowerment Roundtable at 38th Tokyo International Film Festival, sharing about the role of gender-focused film festivals with my amazing Women Make Waves teammates. More info here.

17-26 October

I am one of the programmer for 32nd Women Make Waves International Film Festival Taiwan. During the 10 days festival, we screened more than 70 titles. And I moderated after-talks with filmmakers such as Claire Atherton, Paula Ďurinová, CHEN Yihwen, ect. More info.

12 October

I was invited by the Dance Umbrella Festival to program a SUNDAY SHORTS film screening with Emily Shin-jie LEE at Barbican Cinema in London. The program titled Between Breath and Lens. We invited six films from artists/filmmakers from Taiwan and Japan, including Yin-Ju CHEN, ZHANG XU Zhan, Tzu-An WU, Ai OZAKI, Cherlyn Hsing-Hsin LIU and Tjimur Dance Theatre. More info here.

I was one of the jury member for Female Filmmakers Festival Berlin for their Short Film Competition. See the list of the nominations and winners.

8-10 August

For the very first edition of FemRises at ufafabrik, Berlin. We put together a 3-day celebration of films, workshops, warm-hearted discussions, and a cozy market. I contributed the film screening programs with my fellow programmers Kiki HO, Karen CHEUNG and Jaye LIN. More info here.

I participated in a panel (online) on Asian cinema at Dokukino KIC in Zagreb, alongside Julian Ross and Taiki Sakpisit, with moderation by Sara Simić. I spoke about my curatorial practice between Europe and Taiwan, and reflected on the importance of cinema as a communal space. More info here.

15-30 April

I was on the jury for The Tan Ean Kiam Foundation-SGIFF Southeast Asian Documentary (SEA-DOC) 2025 Grant with Fujioka Asako and Panuksmi Hardjowirogo. Together, we handpicked 4 projects from nearly 80 submissions across Southeast Asia. More info here.

I had a pleasure of being a guest curator for Asian Movie Night special program: Ripples, Echoes, and what if the Earth Whispers with University of Amsterdam Green Office at Filmhuis Cavia, Amsterdam. Me and co-curator Akvilė Šlėgerytė got to present films by Som Supaparinya, Anchi Lin, Ainá Xisto, sara taas collective and Rngrang Hungul. More info here.

I served on the jury for the 2025 Youth Film Festival in Taiwan, alongside four fellow jurors. We selected the finalists from a pre-screened pool of around 120 short films, including fiction, documentary, and animation. More info here.
